This time Magda Gessler visited the Oaza Smaku in Nowy Tomy¶l. The decor of the place and the taste of the dishes served left much to think about, but the owners humbly accepted the restaurateur’s further instructions. However, they were not prepared for the fact that the chef would leave their team right after the program. Magda Gessler decided to remedy this.

In the latest episode of “Kitchen Revolutions”, Magda Gessler visited a small restaurant in Nowy Tomyśl. Oaza Smaku was supposed to be a place with home cooking and a family atmosphere, but it was not very popular among the local community. The owners admitted that the place is visited by a group of regular guests, but it is too modest to pay current bills with the money earned. So Jowita and Tomasz reached for the last resort and registered their restaurant for Magda Gessler’s program.

Right after arriving at the place, the restaurateur noticed that the interior of the place needed to be refreshed. The tables were covered with oilcloths typical of milk bars, bright green emanated from the walls, and a battery-powered candle burned directly under the counter. However, Magda Gessler was really concerned about the taste of the dishes served by the waitress. The dumplings were so distasteful that the restaurateur didn’t even want to swallow them. Without biting her tongue, she said that the dishes had a “horrible taste” and that the carrot salad was “the worst she had ever eaten.”

After a not-so-successful introduction, Magda Gessler sat down to talk to the owners of the place. Then Jowita openly admitted that she was struggling with personal problems after the loss of her beloved son. The restaurateur advised the owner of Oaza Smaku to see a specialist who would help her deal with her negative emotions. Only then will she be able to fully focus on the future and engage in work on the premises.

A little later, Magda Gessler went to the kitchen, where she was greeted by chef Patryk. The restaurateur appreciated his efforts to improve the quality and taste of the dishes, but unfortunately it was not enough. The cook resigned from his job shortly after Magda Gessler left, and his duties were taken over by the owner. However, its dishes differed from those that should have been served in the bistro after “Kitchen Revolutions”. In order to remedy the problem, the restaurateur suggested that Jowita train under her supervision. “You are coming to my place to cook for a week. And learn,” said Gessler, and the owner took up this task with enthusiasm.
