I add a few drops to Vaseline and apply it to my face. I got rid of the summer nightmare

Skin discoloration is not only a problem for the elderly. Dark spots do not look aesthetically pleasing, so we try to get rid of them in various ways. Two products that most of us have at home come to the rescue. As a duo, they work better than expensive creams.

Discolorations most often appear in summer, when our skin is particularly exposed to sunlight. Dark spots usually appear on the face, neck and hands. This problem intensifies with age because the skin produces less natural pigment, i.e. melanin. Delicate freckles on the nose and cheeks are not a problem, but sometimes the discolorations are so dark that they are difficult to hide.

A quick way to remove discoloration. Reach for two products

Discoloration can be prevented. First of all, you need to protect your skin from UV radiation. Sunscreen should be used every day because UVA radiation is present all year round and penetrates clouds and windows. It leads to earlier aging and the formation of brown spots. In summer, avoid the sun between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., because that’s when it has the greatest impact on our skin.

Avoid alcohol, which may additionally irritate the skin. If you notice discoloration, use two products: Vaseline and lemon. Vaseline has a protective, moisturizing and regenerating effect, while lemon has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Contains vitamin C, which exfoliates and evens out the skin tone.

Home remedies for discoloration. Fruits and vegetables will help you

Pour one tablespoon of lemon juice into a bowl and add one tablespoon of Vaseline. Mix until a thick, uniform cream and leave for 10 minutes. Wash your face, dry it and apply the mixture. Wait half an hour and wash off with lukewarm water. Finally, cover your skin with a moisturizing cream. You can also apply this discoloration mixture to other parts of the body where spots have appeared, e.g. hands, neckline and back. The treatment can be used twice a week. On the same day after use, avoid exposure to the sun, as discoloration may return. The second proven method is to combine the juice of half a lemon with grated green cucumber. Mix, apply to stains for 10 minutes and rinse. The vegetable will brighten the skin, moisturize and nourish it.
