It turns out that the priest, who goes by the name @padrefilar on TikTok, decided to undergo spiritual adoption using the “Adopt a Life” application. He also presented its principles and encouraged others to do the same. The mentioned application describes the child’s development day by day. – I am a priest and I adopted a child. I plan to devote 5 minutes a day to it – he informs at the beginning of his film.
“Life must be defended”
As we learn from the description of the recording, spiritual adoption is a prayer for “a child at risk of being killed in the mother’s womb.” – It involves reciting one mystery of the rosary every day (Our Father and 10 Hail Marys) and a short prayer for the child and its parents – said Father Marcin Filar. It is headed by priest Tomasz Kancelarczyk, who is famous for the hateful “Decontamination” campaign against people from the LGBTQ+ community. Then the priest called for disinfecting the streets after the Equality March in Szczecin. The idea sparked criticism even within the Law and Justice community. Therefore, the priest finally withdrew from the action and apologized.
