Before the film hits streaming platforms, where it can be seen as part of a subscription, viewers of some platforms will be able to rent it in the VOD version. One of them will be, for example, the Premiery Canal+ service. The second part of “Dune” will be available for rental from April 16. The price has not been announced yet, but it can be estimated that it will be similar to the rental of “Oppenheimer” (PLN 14.99) and “Poor Beings” (PLN 17.99). A day earlier, the production will also be available on Amazon Prime Video – you can now buy it in advance for PLN 64.99.
Ultimately, “Dune” will also be available on streaming platforms and will be available as part of monthly subscriptions. When exactly will this happen? It’s hard to estimate. In the last few years, cinema hits have been available on the Disney Plus and HBO Max platforms a few months after their premiere. The first part of “Dune”, premiered in the middle of the pandemic, was released on the HBO Max platform on the same day as in cinemas. However, this was an exceptional situation, forced by extraordinary circumstances. Looking at the last few months, in which, among others, “Poor Creatures”, we can expect that “Dune 2” will hit HBO Max around the holidays.
