Ryszard Rembiszewski is a real orchestra man. He is not only a presenter, but also an emcee, lecturer, host and even an actor. At the beginning of his career, he worked as an announcer at Polish Radio, and in the 1970s, he also started working as a voice-over artist and started collaborating with Polish Television. Since then, he has hosted many different events and programs, including: “Telewizyjny Kurier Mazowiecki”, “Start” or the first broadcast of the Eurovision Song Contest.

His greatest popularity came in 1983, when he became the host of the famous “Studio Lotto”, broadcast first by TVP and then by Polsat. From then on, for the next 25 years, he read the lucky numbers from the Totalizator Sportowy draw, gaining the sympathy of viewers and nicknames such as “Mr. Totolotek” or “Mr. Lotto”. In 2008, his adventure with the program ended, but he did not disappear from the screens. He led, among others, the program “Pogodna prognosis Kultury” in the “Świat się się” program, and also appeared as a guest in various formats, such as “Między nami”.

On May 7, 2024, Rembiszewski will celebrate his 77th birthday, but he has no thoughts of slowing down and retiring. The presenter is still professionally active and in great shape, and fans constantly compare him to the American actor. He does not hide the fact that he is mainly motivated by love to take care of himself. In 2017, he met Elżbieta Martinez, with whom he fell head over heels in love. – Love like this happens once. I regret that fate brought us together so late. But we should be happy that he gave us a chance to be together. I thought I would be alone. Although he had a few failures behind him, he finally found fulfillment with his new wife and began to enjoy life to the fullest. – If I had such a wise woman from the beginning, my life would definitely have turned out differently. I finally feel that I am not alone, that someone will support me in a difficult situation and give me advice – he admired his beloved in “Your Empire”, adding that the recipe for a successful relationship is to cultivate it together.
Rembiszewski moved to Spain. He hasn’t said his last word to television yet
In 2021, the couple moved to the Costa Blanca island in Spain. Rembiszewski does not hide that the change of environment had a positive impact on his well-being and he regrets that he made this decision so late. – Everything always had to be there for me, immediately. It’s not worth wasting your life on trifles, he said in one of the interviews. However, he still visits Poland regularly due to his numerous professional duties. – In Spain, where I have been living for five years, life is much calmer and I miss the pulse of the capital a bit – he said in “Życie na hot”. He added that thoughts of returning to the capital haunt him constantly. He is also still thinking about a possible return to working on television, but now he would like to try his hand at a different format than the one for which he became famous. – Of course not to the Lotto studio, because it’s a closed chapter – he said.
