How to unblock a clogged sink in the kitchen? Reach for baking soda and vinegar
Food leftovers can cause your kitchen sink to clog over time. Before you throw up your hands and call a plumber, you can try to solve the problem at home. Just pour half a cup of baking soda into the sink and pour half a cup of vinegar over it. For better results, you can also use an additional half a glass of table salt. Wait a few minutes until the characteristic hissing in the sink stops and pour warm water, for example from a kettle, into the drain. You will quickly notice that the problem has been forgotten. You can repeat the action preventively, for example once every three months or whenever necessary.
