Most often, they are much harder and darker, and their primary task is to protect the delicate skin in intimate places against bacteria, external factors and irritations.

According to Dr. Sadaf, hair removal before visiting a gynecologist is not necessary. The doctor’s task is to take care of our health and does not pay attention to what we look like. Of course, if the patient feels better when she does, there are no contraindications to this, but it is not obligatory.

How to prepare for a visit to the gynecologist? “We absolutely do not need to remove hair”

Of course, if we perform any procedures, it is recommended to remove the hair because it makes the wound heal easier. There is no need for this before a regular visit, she emphasized.
