Breakfast programs are very popular, but so far only TVP2 and TVN have decided to invest in this format. Years ago, the morning program “Coffee or Tea?” was broadcast on the air, but it disappeared from television in 2013. However, Telewizja Polska decided to surprise viewers and after the break it will present the second breakfast program again. “Good morning” is to be broadcast on TVP3.
The second breakfast program starts on TVP. “We will propose a completely different character”
As the director of TVP3 Warszawa, Jakub Sito, emphasizes, there is no offer on Polish television in the early morning hours. Breakfast programs start before 8 a.m., so there is a gap that is worth taking advantage of. The new program is also supposed to be an opportunity to rebuild the station’s viewership. – We will propose a completely different character than the one we know from “Good morning TVN” or “Pytania na breakfast”. We will not focus on celebrity form, we will focus on guide topics – he declared in an interview with the portal
The head of TVP3 also commented in a similar tone in an interview with the portal – We need a new, fresh look – he noted. – “Good morning” is supposed to be close to people and the challenges they face every day. It is meant to be interesting, provide practical advice in various disciplines, and sometimes surprise, he emphasized.

The new breakfast program will focus primarily on practical and social topics relating to everyday life, ecology, but also interior design and technology. The first part of “Good Morning” is to be broadcast between 6:40 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. in a band common to all regional stations. The second part, after “Express regions”, between 8.00 and 9.15, is to be broadcast only in the Warsaw band.
The second breakfast hosts included Ula Kaczyńska, Paweł Pochwała (known from “Coffee or Tea”), Katarzyna Sanocka, Krzysztof Grzybowski and Dagmara Kowalska. Andrzej Sołtysik, who left the “Good Morning TVN” program in 2023 and left TVN after 26 years, also returns to breakfast television. The program is to be hosted interchangeably by four pairs of hosts.
