Marek Koterski is an outstanding Polish director, the creator of timeless works such as “Day of the Freak”, “We are all Christs”, “Babies are different”, “Ajlawju”, “Nothing funny” and “7 feelings”. The creator did not hide in previous interviews that his first marriage with Iwona Ciesielska was not an idyll. The man struggled with alcoholism for many years. Later, he also fought for his son, who had fallen into addiction. The director has been a non-drinking alcoholic for years and found happiness again with actress Małgorzata Bogdańska. His son from his first marriage, Michał Koterski, is also an actor and the father of 6-year-old Fryderyk.
As he writes, Koterski and Bogdańska were both going through bad experiences when they met. In conversations with the media, the actress once admitted that this love was predicted to her by an astrologer. At that time, the actress was going through difficult times after the divorce and was raising the child on her own. She wanted to fall in love again. She went to an astrologer, who – as we read – predicted a successful relationship with a man associated with the film industry. However, it was supposed to be a make-up artist.

In 2004, their paths crossed. Małgorzata Bogdańska met Marek Koterski during rehearsals for the play “Nas troje” in 2004. After a few years of dating, they got married. However, the writer, director and actress are a couple not only in real life. Katarzyna Bogdańska played in three productions by Koterski: “Baby jest some”, “We are all Christs” and “7 feelings”. Together they also created “Theatre on a Suitcase”.
They have been together for 20 years and get along perfectly. In one of the conversations quoted by “Viva”, Małgorzata Bogdańska admitted that “they are not particularly trying to establish their relationship”, but there is one “but”.
It’s enough that we don’t see each other for a while and we’re already texting each other and sending kisses. We really wanted to succeed
