Even though Hannah was driving at a low speed, about 5 km/h, the airbag in her car exploded as a result of the collision. The pillow smashed the glasses she was wearing, and their lenses crumbled into pieces and stuck into the woman’s eye. “My whole life has changed thanks to my favorite sunglasses,” she admitted in one of the recordings. “I felt hot, I couldn’t see anything,” she recalls in another recording. She came to the conclusion that she had to create glasses that would be safe and, in the event of an impact, their lenses would not break. And that’s how she created the Blue Eye brand.
