Easter fairy tales will make the holiday season more enjoyable for children. There are many funny and clever productions for children that will introduce them to the magical atmosphere of Christmas. We suggest what Easter cartoons are worth watching with your family.

Easter movies for children – three best family suggestions

Among Easter films, you can find many productions in which the bunny plays the main role. One of them is “Max the Hare Saves Easter”, i.e. the animation will be in a loose, cheerful and adventurous style. The main character is the titular bunny Max, who goes to Easter Land, where time has stopped. In order to find a way home with his newfound friends, he must face the fox gang and try to outsmart them. The entire plot is, of course, maintained in a festive atmosphere, perfectly reflecting the charm of this time.

An animated short film will also be a great option for the youngest “Ice Age: Easter Surprises”. Well known from the previous parts, the mammoth, sloth, tiger and their friends experience a completely new adventure. Sid the sloth receives an egg from which a chick will soon hatch. Sid, coping with the duty perfectly, decides to expand the egg hatching “service”, but at one point he has to face Pirate Rabbit, who steals all the eggs. Sid and his team must go on a mission to find and save the eggs.

“Peter Rabbit” This is another proposition with a cute animal in the main role, which children will surely like. The titular Peter tries to take over Mr. McGregor’s garden, but also the heart of his neighbor who is in love with animals. Although the plot does not refer directly to Easter, it is an extremely warm, family story that perfectly fits the Easter atmosphere.

Another one worth seeing is “Max and Ruby: The Easter Bunny. This production is one of the parts of a series about the adventures of two bunnies. The siblings start preparing for the holidays – they start looking for Easter eggs and other things that will allow them to feel the atmosphere of this extraordinary time.

We can also find something about Easter in the cult series “Peppa Pig”. Episode “The Easter Bunny” tells the story of Peppa and her family playing a game of searching for Easter eggs that the Easter Bunny cleverly hid from them.

There are many more great Easter stories. Worth mentioning are:

  • “Ducks in a Goose Pack” – a work by the creators of the famous “Shrek”, about cross-species and selfless love. The main character is Benek the goose, who separates two little ducklings from the flock and then goes on a journey with them, becoming the best dad in the world for them.
  • “Forest Family” – a fairy tale from 2018 that tells the story of a family of bunnies. These are short animations, but so engaging that the youngest will want to watch more.
  • “Baby and Friends” – Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Roo, Eeyore and Piglet go to Rabbit’s to play chocolate egg hunt. It’s a beautiful production that perfectly captures the atmosphere of Easter.
