One of the most common problems is that it quickly becomes watery. What’s the problem? If we use canned vegetables for the recipe, we must first remember to drain the ingredients thoroughly. It’s best to do this at least half an hour before throwing them into the bowl. People who use salt to season their salad also need to be careful. Why? Because too much salt will cause vegetables to release water – this especially applies to recipes based on fresh products.

Chefs recommend a certain technique to minimize the risk of water appearing in the bowl. Namely, it involves adding boiled potatoes. The vegetables will absorb excess water, but only if they have not been overcooked.
