She was “homeless”. She played the lottery and won. Now he has a house worth PLN 2 million

Mrs. Angelika wiped tears of emotion. The 34-year-old lives in Great Britain and raises two children on her own. Her fate has recently completely changed. The Polish woman decided to take part in the lottery. She didn’t expect such a win.

He wrote about Mrs. Angelika’s victory, among others: portal – Polish website for Poles living in Great Britain. The Polish woman, who is currently raising two daughters on her own – Cornelia, 10, and Ella, 8 – won a house worth £500,000 in the lottery. Converted into Polish currency, it is exactly PLN 2,519,600. Angelika, 34, lives in Carlisle, north-west England. He has been living in the UK for a total of 10 years. Previously, her life had been full of difficulties.

The woman broke up with her partner and father of two daughters. She had to live in her sister’s house and register with the office as a homeless person. After some time, she was assigned a municipal apartment. However, it did not meet the standards that would meet the living needs of two children. Mrs. Angelika renovated them on her own for over two years.

A Polish woman won a house worth PLN 2.5 million. “I was practically homeless”

One day, at the end of 2023, while returning from a visit to the dentist, she bought a lottery ticket. She spent £5 on it. She didn’t have too many expectations. In a published late interview, she even said that she had never won anything before. That’s why she couldn’t believe it – it turned out that she had chosen a house worth 500,000 pounds. The building has two living rooms, five bedrooms, a huge bathroom and a garden. Located in Carlisle.

Tramway Path is a real estate company founded by three brothers from the UK. From time to time, they help the country’s inhabitants and provide them with houses. The brothers interviewed the winner, and its recording can be viewed on YouTube and social media.

– I’m not with the father of my children. We broke up some time ago. When I moved out, I had to stay with my sister, so I was basically homeless. Then I registered as a homeless person, said Mrs. Angelika.

In a moving conversation published on YouTube, she also talked about her past. Among others that she moved to the UK with her mother when she was just 19. At that time, she knew German and Russian, and had to learn English from scratch. Today, she speaks it fluently and, as she admitted in an interview, for the first time in her life she feels as if a great burden had been lifted from her heart. This is, of course, about the house won in the lottery. She also said that she could finally feel “free”.
