She stated that aspiring actors and actresses blur the boundaries of distance, which she does not consent to. – A “star” who graduated from drama school comes and immediately calls me by name. Hey, no! Well, at least some respect. I can switch to “you”, but I have to say that “my name is Beata”, and not someone says: “Hi, could you say something?” – , not hiding his indignation.
At the same time, she emphasized that she valued hierarchy and would not dare to treat someone who was much more successful than her in this way. She noted that there have always been certain standards of behavior in the theater and she would like the young generation to respect them instead of trying to change them. – There is this hierarchy in the theater and I think it is healthy because you have to climb up little by little – she explained, adding that even achievements do not give anyone the right to behave like a “star, but in the bad sense of the word”.
