This type of production will also include something for a younger audience. Particularly noteworthy is the adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ novel “Safe Haven” directed by Lasse Hallström. It’s a story about a young woman, Katie, who can’t find her place after moving to a small town in North Carolina. Alex, the owner of a local shop and a widower, whom she meets by chance, comes to her aid, and their friendly relationship quickly turns into a warm feeling.

The fate of Elis Lacey, the main character of the melodrama “Brooklyn” by John Crowley based on Colm Tóibín’s novel of the same title, is similar. Equally interesting is “Legally Blonde” by Robert Luketic, based on the book “Elle Woods’ Lawyer” by Amanda Brown. It is the story of a college student whose life turns upside down when it turns out that her loved one’s relatives do not accept their relationship. Sam is about to start studies at Harvard, and they consider her not very ambitious, a typical blonde. The girl decides to do everything to prove her worth and show them that they are wrong.
