In the past, Babiarz covered, among others, the Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, commented on running and ski jumping as well as figure skating competitions. He also co-hosted the match studio during the FIFA World Cup. The journalist is therefore well acquainted with the world of sports, and the contract with the TVP Sport editorial office is still in force.
As reported by Plejada, in the summer Babiarz will go to Paris, from where he will cover the 33rd Summer Olympic Games. At the end of February, the journalist was also supposed to go to Glasgow to cover the World Indoor Championships in Athletics. Unofficial reports indicated that he withdrew from the event due to health problems.
Wirtualna Polska reports that the journalist is currently in hospital. A person from Babiarz’s entourage told the portal that he was doing everything he could to regain full health before the Olympic Games.
