One of the permanent elements of “Contact Glass” are telephone calls to the studio. Teodor from Gorzów, who managed to call the editors of the edition, Tomasz Sianecki and Marek Przybylik, first spoke briefly about inflation and Jarosław Kaczyński, and then changed the topic. He said:
I would like to say hello to Krzysztof Daukszewicz.
It turned out that on the same day the commentator present in the studio saw the satirist. After receiving the greetings, Marek Przybylik said a few sentences about it.
Krzysztof Daukszewicz evoked in “Contact Glass”
Daukszewicz said goodbye to the program last year after he made a controversial joke on the air about gender reassignment. Its first effect was a media scandal in which, among others, TVN24 journalist Piotr Jacoń – father of a transgender daughter – and Krzysztof Daukszewicz’s wife, and then the final – as it turned out – disappearance from the satirist’s “Contact Glass”. Now Tomasz Sianecki replied with stoic calm to the interlocutor that he “hopes that these greetings will reach the satirist”, and encouraged him to continue the conversation.
– Does Mr. Krzysztof still perform and travel around Poland? I’m looking forward to him in Głogów – continued the viewer. Marek Przybylik then joined the conversation:
Today I met him. He was awarded the Order of the Committee for the Protection of Powązki Cemetery [cmentarzem na warszawskich Powązkach – red.]
– he reported. – Krzysztof received a diploma and an order and told a few cemetery anecdotes – he added. It turned out that Daukszewicz’s involvement in taking care of old monuments was appreciated. He received the order, and – as Przybylik noted – he and others present received diplomas. As for greetings, Sianecki promised the viewer: If Krzysztof does not receive greetings, I will call and tell him.
