This time, the program selects a singer who will be given the opportunity to perform at this year’s festival in Opole. Maciej Maleńczuk was the special guest of the first episode – the show participants had to cope with his songs.

The invitation of Maciej Maleńczuk – a strong opponent of the previous government – looked, not without reason, like a manifesto of the host of “Chance for Success”. The musician has been boycotting TVP for the last eight years. Artur Orzech referred to the changes taking place at Telewizja Polska in his first words:

Artur Orzech removed from TVP
Artur Orzech ran “Szansa na success” for less than two years. In 2021, TVP announced that he did not appear on the recordings – his place was then taken by Marek Sierocki. Orzech himself presented a different version of events. In an interview with Plejada, he said that his role in the program was reduced solely to being a presenter, not a host.
Nobody asked me for my opinion. A few days before the recordings, I received an e-mail with information about who would appear in the next episode and that’s it. Work was already underway to collect documentation for the program, and archival materials with the participation of guests were being searched for. The only thing I could do was to give up running “Szansa na dziennik”. And that’s what happened, he said.
