‘We treat women too well’the first feature film directed by Bilbao filmmaker Clara Bilbao, will be in Hegoalde cinemas starting this Friday.

The debut from Bilbao, with a successful career as a costume designer in which she has worked with Aitor Gabilondo, Mateo Gil, Isabel Coixet and Iciar Bollaín, stars Carmen Machi, Antonio de la Torre and Luis Tosar.

In this black comedy, one day in 1945 a group of ‘maquis’ on the run have the bad idea of ​​taking over the post office where Remedios Buendía (Carmen Machi), excited, tries on her wedding dress. As a result, Remedios will demonstrate how far she can go in defending her values.

The film was premiered on March 3, within the Official Section of the Malaga Film Festival.
