It grows best in sunny and bright positions on humus and fertile soil. It is worth remembering that tunbergia does not like drought or overwatering, so you should regularly check the condition of the soil in the pot.

We plant Tunbergia in March. The ideal temperature for growth is 18-24 degrees Celsius, so it is best to keep the seedlings at home. We put 2-3 seeds into pots, and when they grow, we give them supports, e.g. ice cream sticks or toothpicks. We put the plants outside only in mid-May, when the outside temperature will be favorable for growth and there will be no frosts. The first ones should appear in June. When they start to bloom, it is worth feeding the soil with fertilizer for flowering plants once every two weeks.
