In most Polish homes, of course, it reigns supreme Vegetable Salad, without which many of us cannot imagine holidays, especially Easter. However, it must be admitted that in each home it is prepared in a unique way, everyone has their own proven recipe that makes the vegetable salad taste like nowhere else and disappears from the Easter table in the blink of an eye.

However, apart from the vegetable salad, other appetizers are also prepared, especially those using eggs. they are an inseparable element of spring holidays and appear on the Easter table in all possible configurations. In addition to eggs, other popular ingredients in Easter salads include: cress, nuts, and horseradish. We also like to eat herring, tuna, mackerel, chicken and ham. But the Christmas menu may also include potato, pasta or vegan salads. In this respect, tradition eagerly combines with modernity.

What salads are worth preparing for the holidays? This is the time when novelties also appear on the table, and eggs, horseradish and cress are an integral part of Christmas dishes. That’s why it’s worth preparing a simple Easter salad.
Ingredients:
- 5 hard-boiled eggs
- 3 radishes
- 2 pickled cucumbers
- 250 grams of canned peas
- 300 grams of canned corn
- 40 grams of leek
- a handful of any lettuce
- a handful of cress
- 2 tablespoons of horseradish
- 8 tablespoons of natural yogurt
- 5 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- salt pepper.
How to do it:
Place hand-shredded lettuce (or Chinese cabbage) at the bottom of a large glass bowl. Place the drained peas on the lettuce and corn on the peas. Peel the eggs and cut them into eighths or smaller, place them on the corn. Place thinly sliced leeks on them, then finely chopped cucumbers and radish slices. In a small bowl, mix grated horseradish, mayonnaise, yogurt, lemon juice and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread the prepared sauce evenly over the entire surface of the salad. Decorate with watercress.
Egg salad for Easter
Egg salad for Easter seems to be a mandatory appetizer on the holiday table. If only because eggs are an integral part of Easter. It can be prepared as follows.
Ingredients:
- 4 hard-boiled eggs
- 150 grams of feta cheese
- 6 radishes
- 1 medium greenhouse cucumber
- 3 tablespoons of canned corn
- two handfuls of corn salad
- a few leaves of any lettuce
- 3 tablespoons of natural yogurt
- 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- chopped chives (2 tablespoons)
- a pinch of pepper.
How to do it:
After boiling and cooling, peel the eggs and cut them in half. In a bowl, mix yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives and freshly ground pepper. Place large lettuce leaves and corn salad on a platter. Peel the cucumber and cut it into slices, cut the radishes into slices and place them on a platter. Cut the cheese into cubes and drain the corn. Place egg halves on a plate, add cheese and corn. Pour the mayonnaise-yogurt sauce over everything. You can decorate with parsley or cress.
Recommended salads for Easter
