Just after the last frosts and thaws, many people notice a characteristic white coating on the lawn. It is nothing more than snow mold, i.e. the fungus Microdochium nivale. Most often, we immediately reach for chemical preparations from the store, but it is worth trying much less invasive agents first. One of them is this homemade mixture. Just add 2 teaspoons of baking soda and 5 ml of gray liquid soap to 2 liters of water. Shake the mixture thoroughly and leave it in a dry place for an hour. Then pour the mixture into a spray bottle and spray generously on the snow mold. You can repeat the action even every day, and after a few days you will notice that the mold problem disappears.
