not long ago, YosoyPlex flew a drone over an active volcano in Iceland to fulfill one of his dreams: burning a ring in the purest style of his favorite saga, The Lord of the rings. “They ask me ‘where are you from’ and I can’t say exactly where I’m from,” she said a few years ago in an interview with Zamora News. The truth is that he is from Toro (Zamora), but he lives between Madrid and the rest of the world. His original name is Daniel Alonso Góndez, was born on September 20, 2001 and studied at IES Cardenal Pardo Tavera in this Zamora town. Although after studies, he jumped into the world of streaming.

Plex or YosoyPlex for their followers, actually everyone calls him Dani, except his motherMarifé, who calls him by his full name, without apocoping, Daniel. And why Plex? The history of his name is not very interesting either: when he started on YouTube the first thing he did was look for names, because he couldn’t think of any. From his Willy Fog-style trips around the world to all his awards

In March 2023, Plex announced that I would go around the world in 80 days. In the middle of its second adventure, YosoyPlex won the Award for best YouTube travel channel at the delivery of the awards for Excellence in Digital Travel Communication in Spain, organized by the travel insurer IATI. Once his travels were over—and in the process of becoming a boxer—Plex was the top winner of the 2024 Idol Awards, where he won three of them: Best creator of the year, Idol in the Travel category and Idol of the Year.

At 22 years old and with a house worth 1 million euros

In 2023, he published a video in which he said that he had bought the Epic House, a mansion full of youtubers sharing streamings. In that mansion he had lived with other content creators in Madrid. Songs, books and his path to boxing

YosoyPlex, in addition to all this, also has three books written, two of them framed in the same collection: ‘The Adventures of Plex’. These are ‘YosoyPlex and the cursed pyramid’ and ‘YosoyPlex at the end of the world’, two stories that tell how Plex sets out to discover the powerful treasure hidden in a new pyramid that has appeared in Egypt and his adventure, together with his Fang dog, in a place in Antarctica where they are trapped. Additionally, he is the author of ‘Epic Battle: The day the YouTubers saved the world’, an adventure based on battle royale in which the reader also becomes the protagonist.

On his YouTube channel also add some music, although it is not the most striking thing about his profile.
