The scandal in “Kitchen Revolutions”. Gessler stopped the recording. “I’ve never seen such crap in my life”

In one of the last episodes of “Kitchen Revolutions”, the atmosphere reached its zenith. When Magda Gesller realized that the owner of the premises did not treat his employees properly and, to make matters worse, he was not honest with her, she decided to stop the recording immediately. Bitter words and vulgar epithets were uttered.

is one of the most popular reality shows offered by TVN, broadcast continuously for almost 25 years. This time, she took a closer look at a place called “Karpielówka” located in Warsaw’s Ursynów district. It quickly turned out that an inappropriately selected menu was the least of the problems the owner had to deal with.

When taking over the premises, Mr. Marcin knew that he was in debt for PLN 200,000. zloty. He openly admitted in front of the cameras that although he had been working there for 17 years, first as a waiter and later promoted to manager, it was only when he started managing it that he realized how high the costs of maintaining it were. – I didn’t really know what the costs were because, as a manager, I wasn’t told everything. It was my biggest mistake not to check it. Monthly fees are approximately PLN 100,000. zloty. (…) All these costs overwhelmed me – . Gessler was already dissatisfied upon entering, and her attitude was only confirmed by the dishes she ordered. Later she went to the kitchen, but it wasn’t any better there. “It stinks so much in here that I can’t help but vomit,” she said and hurried back to the room. – Fuck, I’ve never seen such shit in my life. This is a lack of respect for health and life. This guy is crazy. (…) This is a scandal – she said emotionally.

The bitterness came to an end when she learned that the vast majority of employees were unemployed. – It’s illegal. I will not work in a place where legal and fiscal relations are unregulated. Should I save someone who is unfair to people and the state? – she asked, agitated. She decided to start the revolution by completing all formalities. She asked the owner to contact her accountant, which resulted in further disappointment. It turned out that the person doing the documentation for him was actually not qualified to do so. – Fuck, are you crazy? – she screamed. – Are you conscious, do you want to sit? We’re ending the conversation, she said firmly.

The “Karpielówka” restaurant changed its name to “Karczma u ceprów”. “Kitchen revolutions” were not without excesses

Although she had previously sworn that she would not return to “Karpielówka” again, the next day she appeared at the premises again, imposing several conditions on the owner. She promised that she would help him restore the former glory of the place if he signed an employment contract with each of the employees. Mr. Marcin agreed, but it quickly turned out that he was trying to deceive her, because the documents prepared were only for a trial period. The host was also outraged by the fact that although the man assured her that he had been renting the premises since January, the contract was signed only on the day she showed up at his place. – Are you kidding me? – she screamed. The situation became so serious that Gessler decided to immediately call a lawyer and withhold the photos until the matter was resolved.

Ultimately, the revolution came to fruition, and the restaurant began to operate under the name “Karczma u ceprów”. Two weeks later, Gessler came for a follow-up visit, but she was not impressed with the dishes she ordered. She also had reservations about the employees. – Choose people who can do it, who love it – she advised the owner as she left the restaurant.
