Unfortunately, there are situations when parcels arrive after a very long waiting time, when a completely different item arrives than the one we chose, or even worse, we receive a notification that the parcel has been delivered and we do not have it at home. A woman uses online shopping. On the day she was supposed to receive the order, she received an e-mail with information about the hours the courier would deliver her parcel. She had a lot of time, so she decided to go to the store. During her visit to the store, she received the message: “your package has been delivered”. It was strange, because according to the earlier message, the courier was supposed to be there in a few hours, and there was no one at home. In order not to have to think for a long time, the woman decided to call the courier and ask for an explanation. In response, she only heard that he did not have her contact number, so the package was left at the door.

However, after returning home, there was no parcel. The woman was 99% sure that she had provided her phone number when ordering. However, the courier denied that he had no contact with her. After a while, the woman received a message on the messenger from her cousin, who sent her a photo of a piece of a torn and damaged package with her data. The strangest thing was that the man lived in a completely different city than the cousin. The package was undoubtedly hers. It turned out that the cousin’s friend was the woman’s neighbor. When he found a piece of a package with data on the cage. He thought there had been some mistake and passed it on to the woman’s cousin. The phone number was visible, it is not known why the courier lied. However, the woman did not intend to leave the matter like this.
She informed the courier that she had evidence that the phone number was on the parcel and that the parcel itself had been stolen. She was going to write a complaint and describe the entire incident. The man began to apologize profusely for the situation. He asked about the value of the parcel and asked the woman not to file a complaint. He preferred to pay PLN 500 for the damage rather than face the consequences of his behavior. “The moral of this story is that food comes back and it’s better to order from a parcel locker,” the woman summed up her story.
