At first glance, window cleaning is an ordinary household chore. In fact, it can be dangerous, especially for the elderly. They may have problems with balance, back or reaching the top of the frame. Even if they would like to clean the windows, their health condition may simply not allow them to do so.
Some people may ask loved ones for help or use the services of a cleaning company. If you cannot afford it, take advantage of free help as part of the “Window cleaning for seniors” campaign. The initiative was initiated by the authorities of Kalisz. The program is aimed at people aged 75 and over. It can be used by anyone who meets the age criteria.

“Window cleaning for seniors” started on March 4 and will last until November 29. This option can only be used once during the project implementation period. The waiting time for the service depends on the order in which the request is made, but it is a maximum of two weeks. – The service provider provides cleaning products and staff with appropriate qualifications and tests enabling work at heights – said Tomasz Rogoziński, head of the social and housing department of the city hall, in an interview. Professionals clean the windows on both sides, frames and window sills. If you want to take advantage of free window cleaning, you must call 510 493 497. You can call every Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
