Katarzyna Grochola has a proposition for Szymon Ho³ownia. It’s about abortion

Katarzyna Grochola was a guest of the “Bez retuszu” program on TVP Info. The writer was asked about the issue of a referendum on changes to the right to abortion in Poland. She has never hidden the fact that she supports Women’s Strikes, which is why her proposal to Marshal Szymon Hołownia is merciless.

There is another discussion in Poland about the reproductive rights of Polish women. One of the participants in the work on changes in the law was Marshal Szymon Hołownia, who postponed all votes on this matter to April. There were also proposals to solve the “problem” by means of a referendum. This topic was discussed in the program “Bez retuszu” on air. One of the guests was . The writer left no stone unturned on this idea.

Katarzyna Grochola has no mercy for the referendum project on abortion

Katarzyna Grochola has repeatedly become known as a supporter of women’s rights and free choice when it comes to abortion. During protests against the tightening of anti-abortion law, she argued that it was a dangerous time to be pregnant in Poland. “The government does not care about women’s safety and still looks between women’s legs whether they have sperm in them or not. This is anti-family, anti-human and anti-woman action,” she said about the PiS government in 2022.

She did not change her mind, even though the government changed. The writer expressed this in an interview on TVP Info.

I don’t want anyone looking into my belly, my daughter’s belly or my granddaughter’s belly. Pope Francis said that the issue of abortion is a matter between the man who performs the abortion and God. And I would rather stick to that. But I don’t fall for demagogy, whether it involves scribbles or not. The point is that women should decide. If Mr. Hołownia came up with a referendum, please do so. However, only women have the right to take part in this referendum – she proposed.

Marek Czyż didn’t leave these words without comment:

And we don’t? – He asked.

No, because you don’t have a uterus.

I will insist that we do have some share in this endeavor, he continued.

Very small and negligible. No one is standing by you, prosecutor Ziobro was not standing by when you were washing yourself in the shower too persistently, she concluded. – We have the same free will as men. Of course, we are designed for something different, because you can’t give birth to children, but it’s really not a women’s dream – scrapbooking is not a women’s dream – she concluded.
