It’s all because of the problem with naming these dishes.

Few people realize that the correct name of the popular pudding is actually… milk jelly. According to books for learning to be a chef and pudding are treated as two separate dishes due to differences in ingredients, proportions and preparation techniques. Milk jelly is often based on a simpler recipe, consisting of milk, sugar and starch, which makes it light and delicate. In turn, pudding usually contains eggs and a larger amount of starch, which gives it a thicker consistency and a creamier taste.

If we want to prepare a savory version at home we will need a special pudding mold, which we can easily purchase in stores or online. In addition, you should prepare:
- 40 g of pork,
- ,
- Kaiser rolls 3 pcs.,
- 1 cup of milk,
- 60 g of butter,
- 40 g breadcrumbs,
- parsley, salt, pepper to taste.
Preparation of the dish:
- Cut the cooked meat into thin strips. Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites.
- Soak the kaiser rolls in milk, when they soften, squeeze slightly and pass through a sieve or blend.
- Grind the butter in a bowl, add breadcrumbs, egg yolks, chopped parsley and chopped meat.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff, adding a pinch of salt. After whipping, gently mix into the mass.
- Gradually add breadcrumbs, mixing until the mixture is uniform.
- Grease the molds with olive oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
- Fill the pudding molds with the prepared mixture up to 3/4 of their height.
- Close the molds tightly and place them in a large pot of boiling water. Cook over low heat, covered, for 60 to 80 minutes.
You can serve the finished dish after removing it from the molds. Enjoy your meal!
