The Vitoria-Gasteiz Jazz Festival announces the addition of performers to the lineup for its 47th edition (July 15-20) Cecile McLorin Salvant and Terri Lyne Carrington.
The singer Cécile Mclorin Salvant will perform at the Mendizorrotza sports center on Thursday, July 18, accompanied by the pianist Sullivan Fortner.
One day before, on Wednesday the 17th, the drummer, composer, producer and singer Terri Lyne Carrington will perform in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
Lyne Carrington was a member of Herbie Hancock’s band for a decade, teaches at Berklee College of Music, and her album ‘New Standards Vol.1’ proposes new standards composed by women.
The Vitoria-Gasteiz Jazz Festival will complete its programming in the coming days, and will announce the exact date on which tickets and season tickets will go on sale.
