You’ll still make it. Use these tricks on your house flowers and they will bloom all year round

Spring is one of the best times of the year for indoor plants – the beginning of the growing season, plants seem to come to life before our eyes. Improve your plant care this season with these tips and watch your houseplants bloom.

It should be noted that many houseplants do not go dormant in winter. Indoor heating, regular watering, and the use of grow lights or even regular household lamps may be enough to keep the plant growing actively. Nevertheless, as the seasons change, the plant will likely experience a growth spurt if you try a few home tricks relatively quickly. Get to it now and you’ll make it.

Take care of the roots. This is as important a check-up for the plant as checking our teeth is for us

First of all, let’s get the dirty work done. It’s easy to forget about the roots, but they are a key part of a plant’s overall health. Even if the plant is growing well, it is best to check it at least once a year.

To check the roots, gently pull the plant out of the pot. If you see roots snaking around the outside of the root ball, or you see more roots than soil, it’s time to repot into a larger pot!

We all love a fresh start in spring, and plants are no exception. Take a few hours to deal with the dust, debris and other clutter that accumulates on and around your plants over the winter. Your home will feel refreshed and your plants will be ready for more light and new growth.

Repot your plants. This is the perfect time to do it, so don’t waste your time

Plants typically need repotting every 12 to 18 months, and spring is one of the best times to do this – providing your plants with new nutrients and more space for the upcoming growing season. Remember that repotting does not necessarily mean placing the plant in a new pot unless it has outgrown its current one and needs more space, but rather changing the soil or potting mix to provide fresh nutrientsso that it can continue to develop.
