Maciej Musiałowski published a music video online for the song “Znak”, which he submitted to this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The artist’s fans praise his proposal and regret the jury’s decision: “This song should represent us.”

Maciej Musiałowski took part in this year’s qualifying rounds for the Eurovision Song Contest. At the last minute, he sent the organizers the song “Znak”, which was released for the first time on March 1. The song was created as a result of a sudden surge of emotions related to a painful breakup. “At some point I sat down at the piano and started composing again something that I had once written for this person, and it worked. We have a ballad and we have a ballad with strings, very dramatic… I wrote the text, composed the basics of the score,” said the artist on on Radio Złota Przeboje.

Although the song did not qualify for the competition, it was appreciated by Internet users who praised it in the comments. “A piercing, emotional voice. Big applause also for the orchestra and choir. You have created something extremely beautiful”, “I love this song, it is written with such sensitivity” – we read under the recording published on YouTube. There were also voices in the comments section arguing that Maciej Musiałowski should go to Eurovision. “This song should represent us at Eurovision!”, “It would be a win for Eurovision”, “So far I was happy with Luna’s choice, but after listening to “Sign”… Oh, what a pity. Wonderful song!”

Maciej Musiałowski may not go to Eurovision, but he certainly won’t complain about the lack of activities. The actor is one of the most sought-after artists of the young generation. Last year he appeared in the film “Freestyle”, which was nominated at the Polish Feature Film Festival. Previously, he also played the main role in the famous film “Suicide Room. Hater”.
