He kidnapped her, tied her up, gagged her and packed her in a bag. A Pole accuses the model of lying

In 2019, he was sentenced to almost 16 years in prison for intoxicating him with psychoactive substances, tying and gagging model Chloe Ayling. He was then supposed to pack the unconscious woman (together with her brother, whom the court found to be the main perpetrator of the kidnapping) in a bag. Now the BBC is making a six-episode miniseries based on what allegedly happened in 2017 in Milan.

As reported by “Mail Online”, a 42-year-old Pole, convicted of kidnapping Chloe Ayling, was “quietly” released from prison 18 months ago for good behavior. Let us recall that his 2019 sentence was reduced to five years after an appeal. Michał H. currently lives in his hometown in Poland. His brother, Łukasz H. (Michał H. – according to Ayling – was supposed to help him in the kidnapping), is still in an Italian prison. In 2018, the man was sentenced to 16 years in prison, which was also reduced to five years.

A journalist from “Mail Online” contacted the 42-year-old, but he refused to comment on the case, only emphasizing that he was innocent and that he did not intend to harm his brother, who is still serving his sentence. Michał H., like his brother, denied the charges against him from the very beginning and emphasized that the model had faked her own kidnapping to boost her career.

Chloe Ayling and the kidnapping story

Let’s recall the story of Chloe Ayling. The model was allegedly kidnapped from Milan in 2017. The 25-year-old woman testified that she was drugged, then gagged and stuffed into a bag by Łukasz H. and his brother. She was later told that she would be sold as a sex slave unless they received a ransom of PLN 300,000. euro in bitcoins.

Her testimony in court shows that the model was kidnapped by a gang of human traffickers who lured her to Milan with a false offer of a lucrative photo session. The woman was then imprisoned on a remote Italian farm for six days. During the court hearing, the British celebrity cried and talked about her blood-curdling experiences.

– I immediately felt sleepy and fell, unconscious, on the floor. When I started to wake up, it turned out that I was in a tight space, in a black bag, she said.

I had tape around my mouth and handcuffs on my wrists and ankles

– she said.

The H. brothers had a completely different opinion on this subject from the very beginning. The men argued that they were innocent and the whole situation was intended to promote Chloe in the media and enable her to develop her career. Łukasz H. confessed in court that he met the model in 2015 and started dating her. After a few months, the woman allegedly suggested to him that they fake her kidnapping because it would help her career a lot. According to the men’s accounts, she wanted to gain publicity in this way. After the shocking events of 2017 described by the model, in 2018 she got into the British reality show “Big Brother”.

The BBC will film a series about the kidnapping of a model by a Pole

The series, currently being developed by the BBC, will feature Chloe Ayling’s story and will also include a number of interviews, references to Ayling’s book on the kidnapping, research results and documents from the court proceedings. As reported by “Mail Online”, brothers H. and Chloe Ayling have signed a contract with the BBC. The contract does not require them to appear in the series or make statements, but they are obliged to provide all information about the case.

“It is unclear whether the H. brothers were paid for this (…), but strict editorial guidelines prevent the transfer of royalty payers’ money to convicted criminals, as this would be seen as profiting from their illegal activities,” we read on on mailonline.co.uk.

It is worth adding that the case was questionable from the beginning, and Chloe’s version was repeatedly questioned – including in the accounts of witnesses, residents of the Italian town (where she was supposedly imprisoned), who claimed to have seen a happy and in love couple shopping together. The court itself called on Chloe to provide additional explanations, and a Hollywood director contacted the defense a few years ago, claiming that the scenario of Chloe’s kidnapping was very similar to one of his works.
