Search of Alain Delon’s house. The police haven’t seen anything like this for a long time

In Alain Delon’s house, the police found a firearm he was illegally storing. The 88-year-old actor has already heard the charges.

Police officers from the Loiret department in central France seized 72 firearms and 3,000 rounds of ammunition found in the house of 88-year-old Alain Delon. The prosecutor’s office stated that the movie star did not have a permit. The police also discovered a shooting range on the property. “The actor was charged with possession of an unregistered firearm,” said Jean-Cedric Gaux, chief prosecutor of Montargis.

Dispute over the estate of Alain Delon

The search was carried out following a prosecutor’s order in connection with a new investigation into the conflict between the French actor and his children: Anthony, Anouchka and Alain-Fabien. According to Delon’s wishes, after his death, 25% of the estate would go to his sons and the remaining 50% to his only daughter. Anthony Delone alleged in an interview for “Paris-Match” that his half-sister hid information from him about their father’s poor health. Alain-Fabien, however, stated that Anouchka makes it difficult for him to contact the actor living in Switzerland.

Since January this year, Alain Delon has been assisted by a legal representative. A person appointed by the court ensures that the actor is provided with appropriate medical care. In 2019, Delon suffered a stroke twice.

Alain Delon was an icon of French cinema in the 1960s and 1970s. During a career spanning almost three decades, the actor appeared in over 100 films. His titles include: “Rocco and his brothers” (1960), “L’Eclisse” (1962), “The Leopard” (1963), “Le Samouraï” (1967), “La Piscine” (1969), ” Le Cercle Rouge” (1970), “Un flic” (1972) and “Monsieur Klein” (1976).
