As you can see, the development industry in Poland is doing very well. The micro-studio located in the center of Szczecin, which is for sale on Otodom.pl, measures exactly 7.87 square meters. Its price is “only” PLN 169,000. A square meter of the room costs PLN 24,000.
The room is located in the city center at Władysława Łokietka Street. “The premises are small, but with their own bathroom and a mini kitchenette. The premises have been renovated and contain full equipment necessary for everyday functioning,” the announcement reads. “The premises are small but comfortable, intended for one person. With a symbolic rent of PLN 40,” it was added. It is worth mentioning that immediately after the matter was publicized by influencer Patryk Krajewski and the media, the offer disappeared from the website.
Micro-studio with an area of 7.87 sq m. located in the center at ul. Władysław Łokietek. Electric heating and water heating, premises to be taken over with a reliable tenant. Rent approx. PLN 40. Offer for the investor. Very good location, close to transport, shops, bank, restaurants
– we could read in the offer description.
The micro-studio is 8 meters high and costs PLN 170,000. “We can wash our feet while sitting on the toilet”
Although the mentioned “premises” are no longer available on the website, you can still watch it on Patryk Krajewski’s TikTok. We can see there that in less than 8 square meters there is a wardrobe, a fold-out armchair and a folding table with a chair. However, the kitchenette lacks… a sink.
A three-in-one set, i.e. a sofa, an armchair and a bed in one, a window sill that serves as a shelf, no sink, but that’s probably an ecological issue, because you can use rainwater to wash the dishes, a blind instead of a bathroom door, and while sitting on the toilet you can also wash your feet
– Krajewski ironizes. Interestingly, you cannot live there with a dog. But why? According to the Animal Rights Protection Act, a dog’s kennel must be at least 9 square meters.
In an interview with TVN24, Przemysław Wojnarowski, a real estate market analyst from the Institute of Regional Studies in Szczecin, spoke about this shocking offer. The expert stated that “this is an unprecedented offer in that the number of transactions for this type of premises is small.”
This is an extreme example of the offer on the market, but it does not surprise me in any way. We have a free real estate market and if this apartment sells, it will only show that there is a desire and demand for this type of premises – he said. – (…) If this sale takes place, it would be a record in Szczecin – said the analyst.
