They say that eyebrows are like a frame for a picture. It’s no wonder that women want to look their best. Lamination has been at the forefront of the most fashionable eyebrow treatments for some time now. It cannot be denied that in the case of lamination performed by a professional and experienced stylist, the “after” effect is spectacular, but it is a procedure that must be repeated regularly. And although no home method will give the same effect as after visiting a salon, there is a home alternative for people who, for some reason, cannot afford to visit a stylist regularly.
Home eyebrow lamination
Similarly to home hair lamination, you can use gelatin to laminate your eyebrows yourself – if there are no contraindications. You can find different ones for your eyebrows online. For home eyebrow lamination, you need gelatin, hot water and, optionally, a few drops of olive oil.
- Dissolve 15 g of gelatin in 50 g of hot water.
- Wait a while to cool down, add a few drops of olive oil and mix.
- Using a disposable brush, apply to the eyebrows, giving them the desired shape.
- Leave it for 20-30 minutes, then wash it off gently with a cotton pad soaked in water.

Such a laminating gelatin mask will make the hair more flexible, soft and manageable. Moreover, the proteins contained in gelatin fill the gaps in the hair, positively affecting their condition. If you want to enjoy nice and healthy eyebrows every day, it is worth remembering to regularly moisturize them with a gel, cream or oil intended for this purpose.
A cheap way to get perfect eyebrows
An effect similar to lamination can also be achieved by using appropriate styling products. A soap that will work especially well here is that it not only brushes and fixes the eyebrows by “sticking” them to the skin, but also strengthens and nourishes the hairs thanks to the care ingredients it contains. Just take a little of the product onto the brush, work the product into the hairs and comb them, giving the desired shape. Finally, fill in any gaps with a marker, pencil, shadow or eyebrow pomade.
