“Ashes” is a Netflix melodrama about a woman who rediscovers her forgotten passion. This is due to a manuscript submitted to the publishing house run by her husband. The Polish production closes the Netflix podium. It’s a romantic comedy called “Kill Me, Baby.”

Interestingly, the Polish comedy outperformed other foreign hits in the ranking. Among them was “The Snow Brotherhood”, which has been in the Netflix top for a long time. The film was nominated twice for this year’s Oscars, for best make-up and hairstyles and for best international film.
