Tomasz Komenda is dead. His story shocked all of Poland
At one time, the whole of Poland was concerned about Tomasz Komenda. In 2004, by decision of the Court of Appeal, he was found guilty in Miłoszyce, for which he received a 25-year prison sentence. According to investigators, on December 31, 1996 in Lower Silesia, he brutally raped 15-year-old Małgorzata, who was left in a 20-degree frost shortly thereafter. Although he pleaded guilty immediately after his arrest, in the courtroom he denied any involvement, explaining that he had given his earlier testimony under the influence of threats from the policemen who interrogated him. However, the court did not believe it. When he went to prison, he was 27 years old. In 2018, 18 years after his conviction, the case was finally reopened and his innocence was found. He was released and received nearly PLN 13 million in compensation.

But later, when I looked into the eyes of Tomek and Teresa, I realized that the emotional charge was very, very large – she said in an interview with . She received a lot of positive reviews for her role, but, as she admitted in interviews, it was one of the most difficult professional challenges for her. – While talking to Teresa, I realized that this is a beautiful story about the power of motherly love.
