The premiere of “Rojst” was accompanied by a ceremonial event at the Warsaw Kinoteka, where the atmosphere of the series was recreated. Once there, you could even take a walk in the fog through the dark forest. The cast, production creators and journalists appeared on site. During the event, Gazeta.pl reporter Agnieszka Matracka talked to, among others, Michał Pawlik, who plays policeman Jarek Ma³ecki called “Dzizia” in “Rojście”.

When asked whether he remembered the 1990s as the carefree times of his youth or whether he associated them with danger, the actor shared his clear memories. “I remember the narrative that people were told to be careful on the street and lock doors,” says Pawlik. The actor also recalled a mysterious anecdote that his parents repeated to him.

Michał Pawlik remembers the 1990s. “They said: ‘Close the doors, because they are walking in the cages'”

“My parents kept saying ‘close the doors because they are walking around the cages’. No one ever said who was walking around and why, but there was a suggestion that they were ‘walking’, ‘stealing’, ‘taking away’, ‘kidnapping’,” adds the artist. Apart from the chaos of the 1990s, Pawlik also remembers those carefree moments. Nevertheless, a certain caution is evident in the memories.

“We were having fun, but we had to get home very early, before it got dark. Also, on the one hand, carefree, but I remember the feeling that it was also dangerous, which we see in the series in a very essential and condensed form,” the actor concludes. .
