On Monday, a new conversation appeared on Krzysztof Stanowski’s new channel. Robert Mazurek’s guest was Przemys³aw Czarnek, former Minister of Education. At one point, the founder of Kanal Zero entered the studio and interrupted the conversation, turning to the guest.

The tenth edition of the “Zero Hour” program has already appeared on Channel Zero. This time, Przemysław Czarnek sat in the studio with Robert Mazurek. “Nobody will like this conversation,” the interviewer began. He noted that neither his supporters nor his opponents would like the presence of the former Minister of Education in the studio. The journalist emphasized that he did not want to crush the politician, but he would not avoid difficult questions for him.

The conversation began calmly, Mazurek asked Czarek about the circumstances in which he met his wife. However, in a moment the journalist quoted a question from a viewer of Channel Zero and the spell was broken. “How can you reconcile being a professor at a Catholic university with being the biggest boor in Polish politics?” – the host of the program quoted Czarnek as saying. “If for you speaking the truth is boorishness, then I am a boor,” said the politician.

The former Minister of Education calmly answered subsequent questions and seemed to have nothing to reproach himself with, even when Mazurek quoted further critical words, even from the guest’s political supporters. After over an hour of the interview, the conversation was interrupted by the founder of the channel, Krzysztof Stanowski.

“You almost never talk about the students at all”

During his lecture about Polish farmers, Czarnek did not even notice that an additional person entered the studio. Stanowski appeared in front of the cameras with a chair and sat next to the interlocutors, but for the next seconds only the learned sentences of the former Minister of Education were heard on the air. “I decided to sit here because I listen, and listen, and listen, and I already realized that I can’t reason with you,” Stanowski said to Czarnek.

“I have the impression that what you don’t say matters more than what you say,” the creator of Channel Zero summed up the conversation. “This is my big complaint. You practically never talk about students at all. As a father, I would like the Minister of Education to be not someone who wants to straighten children ideologically, not someone who wants to deprogram or program them. I would like it to be a person who looks at all children as his own and wants to create a child-friendly school. He wants to open the door to different paths for them. You don’t have that, but there is a lot of confrontation, ideology, and bouncing the ball,” added Stanowski.

Of course, Przemysław Czarnek had a ready answer to the presenter’s extensive question. He immediately denied that he wanted to introduce any ideologies into schools. “I do not believe that Christian content in Polish conditions constitutes any ideologization, it is part of reality,” noted the former Minister of Education.
