On Saturday, the final episode of season 5 of “The Voice Senior” was broadcast on Polish Television. For the last time, Lucyna Mazur and Roman Wojciechowski, the students of Maryla Rodowicz, Piotr Salata and Wojciech Kwiatkowski from Tomasz Szczepanik’s team, Róża Frąckiewicz and Regina Rosłaniec-Bavcevic from Halina Fr±ckowiak’s group, and Alicja Wêgorzewska’s students: Małgorzata Kraszkiewicz, appeared on the stage of the musical talent show. and Tadeusz Talarek.
Tomasz Szczepanik had a mishap during the final of “The Voice Senior”
The final itself was divided into two stages: in the first, the participants selected by the jury said goodbye to the program, while in the second, the viewers decided about the winner. It was in the first part that Tomasz Szczepanik made what might seem a small but significant mistake. While assessing Tadeusz Talarek’s performance, the juror stated that the participant, despite his advanced age, performed the piece very well. Unfortunately, Szczepanik was wrong by as much as 12 years.
“In both cases there was a bit of impurity. I don’t know if it’s caused by emotions or stage fright, it’s a unique scene. I’m absolutely impressed that you can sing so beautifully, despite these impurities, at the age of 84. This is an advantage” – said Tomasz Szczepanik. After these words, Mr. Tadeusz looked a bit confused. “A small correction, 72 years old,” he finally said into the microphone. “Alicja made me laugh. Despite everything, you know that I respect and love you,” replied the juror, to which the audience reacted with laughter and loud applause.
In the first stage of the final episode, Wojciech Kwiatkowski, Małgorzata Karaszkiewicz, Lucyna Mazur and Róża Frąckiewicz said goodbye to the program. The winner of the 5th edition of “The Voice Senior” was Regina Rosłaniec-Bavcevic. The participant received the title of Best Voice in Poland and PLN 50,000.
