“This is not a book only for men and not only for people who want to diversify or heal their sexual life, although all the above-mentioned people will be delighted with it. I also see in it an extremely current story about social and cultural changes that clearly you can see it when we start looking at our intimate life. And it cannot be denied that anecdotes and stories from the sexologist’s office make this reading incredibly addictive – you can spend the night,” writes Katarzyna Tubylewicz about “The Art of Penis Service 2”. Sexologist and psychotherapist Andrzej Gryżewski and journalist Przemysław Pilarski published the sequel to the bestseller after six years.
Authors of “The Art of Penis Service 2”: We men are not troglodytes
In an interview with Marta Korycka, which can also be listened to as the Publio podcast “Good read, good listen”, the authors talk about both the more controversial topics discussed in the book – such as chemsex or priests’ sex – but also about male sexuality simply . Where did the idea for a sequel come from? – I wanted to describe male sexuality from A to Z. I was mainly interested in basic sexual dysfunctions, i.e. problems in men’s erotic life, i.e.: erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, hypolibidemia, i.e. reduced sexual drive, difficulties in achieving orgasm. We described all this in that book. However, male sexuality is not so limited – says Gryżewski and adds:
We men are not troglodytes. Our sexuality is very rich, it covers our personality, our largest sexual organ, i.e. the brain, and in this brain topics such as penis centrism, i.e. perceiving sex through the prism of one’s penis, are manifested. His centimeters, his size, his weight, his ejaculations, etc. on what happens in bed.

In the book, the authors talk about masculinity, toxic masculinity – incels, the swingers phenomenon and chemsex. – Many people want to take shortcuts and that’s why they use chemsex, because with chemsex or drugs, when we take something, there is an immediate effect, and people are tempted by this shortcut, immediate gratification – says Gryżewski.
What is chemsex? – This is the deliberate use of drugs to make sex longer and more intense – explains Pilarski. – People then have sex longer, with more partners, and this also makes them more susceptible to sexually transmitted diseases. But you can also exaggerate, you can go down, a death that can be counted as literal death – he adds and emphasizes that they do not hide the fact that the phenomenon exists – he explains. The authors of the book talk about health and safety when using these substances, but they also say clearly that it is better not to do so.
Man, control yourself!
In “The Art of Penis Service 2” there is also a third interlocutor – a urologist. The authors pay special attention to, among others: on the need for men to self-examine. They emphasize that they should examine their testicles every month – even as teenagers, because this cancer usually affects young men from the age of 15, and the peak incidence occurs in the age of 30. They also remind us that not only women should self-examine their breasts. Unfortunately, men usually go to the doctor in an advanced stage of the disease. Pilarski says:
In my family, there was a case where one of the family members felt a lump on his chest. I don’t know if it was actually breast cancer, it was a sarcoma, but thanks to the fact that it was diagnosed earlier, she has been with us for seven years after the surgery. That’s why it’s worth getting tested.
