The Polish monarchy officially ended in 1918. However, we still have descendants of princely families who live in castles and palaces. An example is Jan Lubomirski-Lanckoroński. He is the president of the Landeskrone Group and the Princes Lubomirski Foundation. Already at the age of 18, he managed several tenement houses in Krakow. Later he ran sandwich bars and cafes. He invested his earnings in the real estate market.
How does Prince Lubomirski live? There are 100 rooms in the castle
The prince’s fortune is estimated at PLN 450 million. Lubomirski was married to Dominika Kulczyk for 12 years, with whom he had two children. The marriage ended in divorce, and John remarried. His chosen one was Countess Helena Mańkowska. In 2020, they welcomed a daughter into the world. They live in a castle in Lubniewice in the Lubusz Voivodeship.
The palace complex includes a 10-hectare park, and right next to it is Lake Lubiąż. The estate is built in the Neo-Renaissance style and its area is 10,000 m2. m2. Inside there are 100 chambers, a dining room, a ballroom, a music room, a hunting hall and a royal hall with a mailroom of Polish kings designed by Marcello Bacciarelli. Portraits of Stanisław Lubomirski and his wife Izabela hang in the hall.

Prince Jan has been the owner of the castle in Lubniewice for 24 years. On his Instagram profile, @princeslubomirskifoundation, he periodically shares photos showing the interior of the palace. From 2020, some parts of it are open to the public after prior arrangement.
