Sakiewicz’s quick reaction. He announced two trials

The editor of TV Republika quickly reacted to Sienkiewicz’s words. Tomasz Sakiewicz announced the trial. “In connection with the statement of Minister Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz accusing us of illegal misappropriation of TVP property, we declare: we have never illegally used TVP property. We stayed in the TVP info building only at the invitation of the management of this institution, we did not use their equipment, on the contrary, we even lent our equipment to TVP journalists “We do not use any trademarks belonging to TVP,” writes Sakiewicz on the X website.

The editor-in-chief of Republika TV accuses the minister of slander and announces two trials. “Lieutenant Colonel Sienkiewicz’s statement is a slander against our station and that is why we are filing a criminal lawsuit for defamation and a civil lawsuit for compensation caused by this harmful statement. The rhetoric and actions used against our station resemble the methods used during martial law against media independent of the communists. After the attack on public media, we have another version of the fight against free speech in Poland,” adds Sakiewicz.
