He was a “strip” on TVP. Has a problem. “I am unemployable”

A former “strip” from TVP Info – Bartosz Gonzales – pays the price for working in a propaganda medium. Thrown out by Pereira before the elections, he cannot now find employment because he is forced to create news strips on TVP.

Bartosz Gonzales revealed himself in December last year as the person responsible for constructing information bars and beams in . . However, what distinguished the strips in the public media was their propaganda and derogatory tone.

In an interview with Wirtualna Polska two months ago, Gonzales confessed that he received orders from his superiors and entire packages of transfers for various occasions, which he had to use. However, he was released before the parliamentary elections – he said goodbye to his “police officer” in August. It turns out that the man now has problems finding stable employment. The reason is supposed to be the past at TVP Info and at the same time burning bridges with former TVP employees.

“Paskowy” from TVP Info is “unemployable”?

Bartosz Gonzales, in a new interview with Wirtualna Polska, admitted that after his dismissal from TVP Info, he had problems during job interviews. It is difficult to delete several years of experience in Polish Television from your CV, and since they fall at a time when, potential employers will certainly ask difficult questions. What did he do, why did he do it for so long, couldn’t he have left his job earlier and cut himself off from the hatred pouring out of the screen? Did it really take the intervention of Samuel Pereira? In an interview with Wirtualna Polska, Gonzales believes that the “environment” sees him as a “PiS supporter”:

It was PiS that kicked me out. I was fired from TVP in August, long before the elections (…). I didn’t fit in with them because I didn’t do everything as they told me or as others did. I’m trying to get a hold of someone, although recently in one of the companies I tried to join, I was told that I was “unemployable”. There’s too much of a stench behind me, he complains.

He mentions that he is writing a “strip diary with TVP Info”, in which he intends to tell what it was like to work on television during the pandemic, the presidential campaign, the crisis on the border with Belarus and the war in Ukraine. He maintains that “belts” are only a small element of the entire system of contempt. He does not add that he was an active part of it for a long time.

We managed to build a very strong and lasting narrative that the “belts” were the worst. And people believed it. (…) The Paskis were only a small element – he says with conviction.

Small, but extremely visible.
