The times we currently live in are very difficult in many respects. The prices of food products are constantly rising, many companies are laying off employees or paying them so much that it is difficult for them to pay all the bills, let alone survive and meet the basic needs of themselves and their children. That’s why more and more mothers are reaching for ideas and tricks that worked in the past, when there was poverty and resources were very limited.
A woman shared her idea for the fastest soup in the world. It used to be standard in Silesia
There are plenty of ideas and tricks on how to save money online. We follow the advice of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers, we use products that we can find in the comfort of our own four walls to clean various places in our homes. Not only are they natural, but above all they cost nothing and are really effective. Women also look for savings when shopping. They try to buy products at promotional prices, look for ideas for cheap dinners for the whole family and remember what they ate when they were children. A woman decided to publish her idea for a soup online, which was a Silesian delicacy and is probably the fastest and cheapest soup in the world.
“Maybe someone loves me, rejects me”
According to the information contained in the video, the cost of the soup was PLN 1.77 for the woman. To prepare it, all you need is boiling water, bread and a few spices. You need to cut the bread into thick cubes, throw it into a deep plate and pour boiling water over it. Then add a tablespoon of lard, a few drops of liquid spices, a pinch of pepper and a few cloves of garlic – if you like. Mix everything thoroughly and the “wodanka” is ready. ‘I recommend it, enjoy your meal’ – with these words the woman ends the video. It was published a few days ago and has already gained considerable popularity. Internet users remember this taste perfectly, but there are also those who would not want to go back to the times when this soup was on their table.. They associate it with poverty and difficult times.
The taste of childhood.
I ate enough of this “poverty soup” as a child and today I don’t want to go back to it. When you were a child, you didn’t eat enough and ate what you had to, otherwise you would go hungry. When I read young women’s ideas on how to eat cheaply, my stomach turns. You can, provided you have a choice, I didn’t have that as a child.
If there was chicken soup left from Sunday, grandma would cut bread into cubes for it on Monday.
It’s great that people like it, but it has nothing to do with dinner. There are no basic and important macronutrients. This is not a complete meal. Whether people used to eat this way is another matter
Maybe someone loves me and rejects me.
I eat it with a lot of garlic when I feel like I’m coming down with a cold.
