The journalist met Prokop in 2007, when they both worked at Telewizja Polska. However, they did not feel confident in their position at the station. They immediately agreed to the proposal to move to TVN, but problems appeared from the very beginning.
Mariusz Walter decided that the duo should be separated and mixed with other hosts of “Dzień Dobry TVN”. It quickly turned out that such chemistry does not happen often. “He was always trying to figure out how to put these puzzles together. We went through test shots, we had no problem with it at all. But it turned out that why experiment? Why make these combinations when we play best together anyway?” – said Wellman, quoted by Onet.
Edward Miszczak did not like Wellman and Prokop. He told them straight
The television duo also encountered misunderstanding from Edward Miszczak. When they changed the station, TVN’s program director did not hide the fact that he had a great distance from the new employees. They heard harsh words from him that he could have kept to himself.
“Edward Miszczak answered the phone and said he was interested, even though he didn’t like us. I really quote, he knows it. It’s easy to check with the source,” the journalist recalls. Wellman and Prokop’s strength was the ability to cope with any situation. This is an essential feature for conducting live programs, where slip-ups and mistakes cannot be eliminated.
