Ten years ago she left the sect. She confessed that she is still persecuted to this day

Many American stars that we know from Hollywood productions belong to the so-called Church of Scientology. Leah Remini is one of the actresses who decided to leave this religious movement in 2013. Recently, she shared a disturbing post on social media, in which she writes that she is still intimidated by Scientology “agents”.

Leah Remini is a 53-year-old actress and media personality who gained most recognition thanks to her role as Carrie Heffernan in the sitcom “The Devil’s Dead”. Previously, she was a follower of the Church of Scientology, but in 2013 she left this institution and began to expose the truth about this religious movement. She has already written a book on the subject, made documentaries and talks a lot about it on social media.

This community has been raising doubts for years. After many years, the actress believes that she is still harassed by her

On February 13, she posted an entry on the X platform that particularly interested her followers. “As some of you know, since I escaped from Scientology in 2013, I have been constantly followed by their agents. These people hide in the shadows to monitor my movements and who I associate with so that they can report back to the intelligence agency – The Office of Special Affairs, which reports directly to David Miscavige [przywódca Kościoła scjentologicznego – przyp. red.]” – we read.

They also take unfavorable photos of me to embarrass me and use them in their latest campaigns to try to weaken and destabilize me, the actress continued.

Remini also believes that the organization, which he calls a “totalitarian sect”, employs “helpless people suffering from serious mental illnesses” to harass and intimidate it. “These people are exploited by a religious organization that does not pay taxes. They do not know who they work for and why they do it. Among the many things they have done is breaking into my gated community,” she admitted.

Scientology has no problem with putting me, my family, my friends and the people I work with in danger

The actress also admitted that despite ten years since leaving the organization, she still feels afraid of a possible threat. “I wrote this because I often feel very alone when experiencing all of this. By writing about it and sharing it publicly, I hope to make me feel less isolated and I hope I can make some of you feel the same.” – Remini concluded.
