As a result of the revolution on Polish Television, Izabella Krzan lost her job in “Pytanie na śnidanie”. The presenter joined the editorial staff of the newly established Kanał Zero, founded by Krzysztof Stanowski. On February 13, Krzan and Tede hosted a morning program together, in which they discussed various topics: from travel, through condom day, to TVP, PiS and the Pegasus case. Comments about the public broadcaster were made in the first minutes of the broadcast.
Izabella Krzan on the future of traditional television
At the beginning of the program, Izabella Krzan admitted that although she was looking forward to her debut on the channel, she was still very stressed. “My hands are shaking a bit,” she admitted, to which Tede replied that he already had experience working in front of the camera. “But you’re a TV veteran,” Tede said. “But we are on the Internet,” the presenter pointed out, and then added that “things are different with television.” So Tede asked her if she thought the future of traditional television was in danger. “Looking at the viewing figures, it’s a bit like that. However, we are moving towards the Internet,” Krzan replied.
A little later, Krzan and Tede raised the issue of Pegasus, which was to be used to eavesdrop not only on opposition politicians, but also on the ruling party. “You were a TVP star, you are a star of Channel Zero. I think that people at this level of the hierarchy were not wiretapped. However, gazeta.pl reported that there were people inside PiS who were under surveillance,” the rapper said. “I think it’s possible. For now, it’s just speculation, some suspicions to create a cloud of rumors around,” replied Izabella Krzan, who, while working in the editorial office of “Pytania na breakfast”, did not usually comment on political topics.
