The adaptation of Jan Brzechwa’s book, directed by Krzysztof Gradowski, with Piotr Fronczewski playing the title character, was extremely popular and broke further records. After 40 years, a new, slightly refreshed and changed version of the production appeared in the cinema, which also turned out to be a hit.

By February 9, it had been watched by over 2.3 million people, which means that even though more than a month has passed since its premiere, it is still one of the most watched films. However, this is not the end of the production’s success, as it was in the TOP10 of the global box office. This means that at the moment it is one of the highest-grossing productions this year. The first place on the list is taken by “The Beekeeper”.

“The Academy of Mr. Kleks” is a new, slightly changed and adapted to today’s times adaptation of Jan Brzechwa’s book. Although the title role is no longer played by , for whom it was iconic, the actor appears on the screen. In the new version he was replaced by Tomasz Kot. A significant change also concerns the main character, who in the book and the first film was Adaś Niezgódka. Instead, Ada Niezgódka, played by Antonina Litwiniak, appeared in the film.

Nevertheless, even though more than 5 weeks have passed since the premiere of “Academy”, it is still one of the films in the cinemas of our country, despite the appearance of new major releases both from Poland and abroad.
