“Artist, actor, musician and member of BHZ, Pablo Grant passed away unexpectedly on February 6 at the age of 26 as a result of a thrombosis. The family and friends of the deceased are devastated and ask for privacy and not to contact mourners until further notice,” we read in the post.
“We would like to thank all the fans who have accompanied and supported Pablo’s artistic path over the years,” the artists added.
The BHZ collective recently canceled their tour
Just days before Grant’s death, BHZ canceled their tour, which was scheduled to begin on February 8. “Due to illness, we have to cancel our upcoming tour,” the collective announced at the time.
Pablo Grant was not only a rising rapper who went by the name Dead Dawg, but he was also an actor. He learned his profession at the Transform school in his hometown. He made his film debut with a supporting role in the film “Bibi & Tina: Mädchen gegen Jungs” in 2016. In 2018-2019, he played a student in the first two seasons of the series “Druck”, and five years ago he joined the cast of the German comedy “Misfit”.
The actor also had supporting roles in the crime series “In Truth” and “Ein Fall für Dr. Abel”. In “Herren” he played Stevie, and from 2020 he played a detective in the series “Polizeiruf 110”. Grant could also be seen on the big screen in the fairy-tale film “Der Geist im Glas” based on the story of the Brothers Grimm.
